1Who this applies to
This section only applies if you have signed in / registered an account (online sync) in Sổ Chấm Công. If you only use offline Personal mode and have never signed in, no server-side account exists — all your data lives solely on your device, and uninstalling the app (or clearing app data in OS settings) removes everything.
2Option 1 — In the app
- Open Settings
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen, below the Data section. - Tap "Delete account"
Re-enter your password to confirm your identity. - Your request is recorded with a 30-day grace period
During these 30 days you can cancel anytime with the "Cancel deletion request" button in the same spot, or via the cancel link in the confirmation email.
3Option 2 — Without the app installed
If you've uninstalled the app, can't sign in, or need to request deletion on someone else's behalf (e.g. a family member's account), email us using the template below. We'll verify and process the request manually.
Email an account-deletion request
Subject: "Sổ Chấm Công account deletion request". Body: your username or the email/phone number your account was registered with, so we can verify and process it.
4What gets deleted
- Before you can delete: if you belong to an organisation, the request is refused. Leave that organisation, or ask its owner to end your employment. If you are the owner, transfer ownership to someone else or delete the organisation first.
- Your Personal data — really deleted: account details (email, username, phone number) are anonymised, your profile is removed, and every logged day, work type, allowance, advance and workplace belonging to Personal mode is permanently erased from the server.
- What you recorded inside an organisation — stays: it is that organisation’s shared attendance book, and the people still there need it to reconcile the periods you took part in. Your name remains in the staff list under former members. When that organisation is deleted, its data is kept for a further 12 months and then permanently erased.
- On your device: deleting the account on the server does not automatically delete local data on your phone — uninstall the app or clear its data in your operating system settings if you want that gone too.
5Processing time
In-app requests have a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion, so you have time to cancel if you change your mind. Email requests are processed manually within a reasonable time, typically a few business days once your identity is verified.
