1Introduction & scope
These Terms of Use apply to the Sổ Chấm Công app (Android/iOS) and any related backend service used to sync your data when you choose to sign in. By creating an account, signing in (including quick sign-in via Google/Zalo once that feature is enabled), or continuing to use the app, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms below.
2Two usage modes
Personal mode runs fully offline — your data stays only on your device. Organization mode requires signing in and requires a network connection: work-log data is stored on our server and shared with other people in the organisation you join, according to each person's role. You can switch between the two modes at any time from Settings, subject to what has been enabled in the version you're running.
3Account & security
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Please notify us as soon as you notice any unauthorized access. Information you provide when registering (username, email, phone number) must be accurate and kept up to date.
4Acceptable use
You agree not to use the app to: violate applicable law; interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or data, or those of other users; copy, reverse-engineer, or exploit the app's source code beyond what the law permits; or impersonate another organization or individual when using the Organization/Team feature.
5Data you create
Work-log entries, work types, allowances, and notes you enter remain your own property. In Organization mode, an organisation's data belongs to that organisation rather than to the individual who typed it — see the section on using it for a business. We only process this data to provide the sync service while you are in Organization mode — see the Privacy Policy for details.
6If you use it for a business
When you create an organisation, you enter data about other people into the service — your staff, including people who never install the app. By using the service in Organization mode, you undertake the four things below.
- You are entitled to enter that data. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and store your staff's data under applicable employment and data-protection law.
- You inform your staff. This includes telling them when you switch on location checking, QR scanning or device binding — features that create data about them.
- You handle their requests. Staff who want to see, correct or delete their data send the request to you; we help you carry it out, but the decision is yours.
- You do not use the service to monitor people. Location is captured only at the moment a staff member logs attendance. Using the service for surveillance beyond attendance breaches these terms.
We process staff data only on your instructions in order to provide the service. If you delete the organisation, the data is deleted on the timeline set out in the Privacy Policy.
7Intellectual property
The Sổ Chấm Công app, including its source code, design, branding, and logo, is the property of the developer. These terms grant you no ownership rights in the app beyond a personal, non-commercial license for its intended use.
8Disclaimer of warranties & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", with no warranty that it is error-free or continuously available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use or inability to use the app, including data loss caused by device failure or uninstallation.
9Termination
You may stop using the app or request account deletion at any time — see our Request Account Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate account access if we detect a serious violation of these terms.
10Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, particularly as new features ship. The "Effective from" date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continuing to use the app after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes will first be resolved through good-faith negotiation before being brought to a competent authority.
